can graze the green grass of grace and forbear the wild winds of wickedness
with wisdom as a mothers kept child.
I can take day by day the downs the devil deliver due to a mother's importunate
moaning to God.
I can stand still in the stale storms of life and take the stinging stones
thrown wickedly without wit because a mother made me mighty and legit
with God's Word.
I can talk to the tomb as a tamer of death and tell it,
"You'll never hold my breath becasue I have a God give health,"
due to the wealthy faith found in a mother.
So as a mother's kept child I walk with words and sing songs of Salvation
as my father would have me because my mother kept me.
She kept me and that's how I know the Father never left me.
For the Father kept her.
