he dawn still lives in wild yonder the bird still cries up in the trees
Standing in awe, the awesome wonder I still fall down to my knees

The wings of yesterday still fly though the feathers have somewhat changed
They carry the breath of time o'er sleeping earth o'er trials and pain

Quiet forest breathing deep still breathing in time's sweet smell
The elder trees; the rain and breeze still proclaim that all is well

The vine still climbs; crawls up the trees the air stands quiet, electrified
the light still hits the forest floor the clouds had broke; the heavens cried

The song, the feeling, in the air still echoes, tells of yesteryear
The flying birds, the trees themselves, still sing the song of all that dear

Down on my knees, a one teardrop dared to fall down from my face
I, still in awe at how still still spoke in such amazing ways

The dawn still lives in wild yonder the bird still cries up in the trees
Being before this awesome wonder: I, still amazed, down on my knees.
